Viitos-Metalli Oy has started a cooperation partnership with Kontram Oy

Kontram is one of Finland’s leading suppliers of automation and instrumentation products and solutions. The company provides Finnish industry and export markets with reliable and technologically innovative equipment and systems for a wide range of automation and measurement applications.

Water and steam analysis systems (SWAS) designed by Kontram, together with the associated sample coolers, are manufactured and assembled at Viitos-Metalli’s facility in Heinola. The frames are fabricated from stainless steel.

The final assembly of the sampling stations, including the installation of analyzers, electrical work, and final testing, is carried out by Kontram at its facilities in Vantaa.

Each water and steam analysis system is custom-designed according to the customer’s requirements using 3D engineering tools.

Continuous monitoring through the sampling system ensures high-quality water chemistry within the plant. Impurities in water and steam circuits reduce plant efficiency while increasing the risk of equipment failures and corrosion.

Thanks to domestic manufacturing, the dimensions, components, and layout of the sampling systems can be tailored to suit each customer’s process requirements, available space, and operational needs.
