The international Subcontracting Fair held in Tampere on 16-18 September 2014 was a great success.

A total of 16,893 industrial decision-makers and professionals attended the three-day event. The fair featured approximately 1,000 exhibitors from 21 countries. Once again, Tampere was filled with the familiar positive atmosphere and strong spirit of cooperation that make the Subcontracting Fair a unique industrial event.

Particularly noteworthy was the participation of several companies from Heinola at a joint exhibition stand despite the challenging economic climate. Their presence was a strong indication of how important visibility is for companies today. Throughout the event, there was a clear shared ambition to showcase the expertise and capabilities of businesses from Heinola.

Finnish products, expertise and craftsmanship can truly succeed in demanding markets. The companies from Heinola invested a great deal of effort in preparing for the fair, and together we can be proud to take part in Finland’s leading industrial event. Success depends increasingly on our ability to market and sell the products and solutions we develop.

The joint stand featured Wiitta-Tuote, Sasmetor, Enekos, Viitos-Metalli, and Ferroplan of Orimattila. The City of Heinola also supported local businesses by participating in the event.
